A new family member.

We have a new baby. Her name right now Winnie unless personality determines this name doesn't fit. She is the sweetest thing. Mellow, smart, and so gentle. She is 12 weeks old and not the puppy we were going to look at. She stole our hearts, sat at my husbands feet, and we couldn't go home without her. And something that nearly blew me away. This morning looking at Abby's growth charts and the puppies papers, I realized they share the same birthday - 8 years apart. I think Abby was there with us last night helping us, knowing exactly what we needed.

She is beautiful!  It looks like Abby is Winnie's guardian angel!  I'm so happy for you and Winnie!

Before looking at Doodle Kisses this morning, I checked out Facebook to see if anything interesting had happened over the past few days. The first post that came up on my news feed was that the beautiful yellow lab belonging to our neighbors passed away yesterday. She was a real sweetheart who loved to take long walks and run on the beach. Her name was Winnie. Could it be kismet? Maybe the world wants a new Winnie!
