Introducing Milo

[Milo, the mini doodle]

Hi Doodle Kisses Community!  Our family picked up Milo on December 22nd.

He is an F1b mini doodle and the breeders prediction is that he will be between 15-20lbs. He is so smart, sweet and happy. He's learned how to sit, lay down, come and is working on ringing a potty bell to go outside.  He has accidents when we aren't paying attention, but overall he seems to get the going outside to potty.  He sleeps through the night in a crate 10:30 pm - 6:15 am.   He was about 2 pounds at 8 weeks, 3 pounds at 10 weeks and goes back to the vet soon.  He's growing quickly. We've switched him to Zignature Zenntials food and seems to really like it. 

Looking forward to learning and sharing from the many experienced doodle owners in this group. We've previously owned a Boston Terrier for 14 years.  This is our first Doodle and it's been 20 years since we had a puppy!  We are so in love already. Fortunately, we were able to be home with him for 2.5 full weeks before returning to School/Work routine in the new year.  I've attached a few pics. 

We've started using Rover.com for his daily puppy play visits while we are away and that has been terrific for our peace of mind and to give him the play time outside and with people he deserves while we are away. https://www.rover.com/refer/denisem40

Welcome to DK Denise and Milo. He sure is a cutie. Annabelle is a mini and was the smallest in her litter. We brought her home at 10 weeks and she weighed 4lbs. She lost a little that first week before she started eating better.  She is now 2.5 years and weighed 14.2 at her last weigh-in at the vet in early December. She was predicted to be in the 15-18lb range.

Thanks for the welcome. Annabelle looks so sweet in the bio picture! Thanks for the info on her size. We've been wondering how big he may grow. He seems so tiny right now.

Oh my goodness, he is so tiny! He just doesn't look real! There are some wonderful groups to help you.  Puppy Madness, grooming, nutrition, training are some of them.  Then there are some fun groups like gardening and photography and regional groups for social interactions.
