Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi everyone, I wanted to take some time to post growth photos of our pup. We got her at 8 weeks and today she is 15 weeks old! She’s an F1 Standard doodle and the breeder informed us she'd be anywhere between 45 and 55 lbs.
Is it too soon to tell how big she'll get? We have any appointment at 17 weeks for a check-up, so she will get weighed again. Also, any predictions on what she will look like full grown? My guess is she’ll be pretty hairy around the facial area and a wavier coat.
Weight:
9 weeks- 8.5 lbs
11 weeks- 13.6 lbs
14 weeks- 19.8 lbs
16 weeks- 21.6 lbs
17 weeks- 23.4 lbs
19 weeks- 26.2 lbs
I will keep this discussion updated with photos and her weight!

First of all, she is gorgeous! Is she a lab or golden? Boone is an F1B Labradoodle and he looked pretty similar to her when he was little. Lola's coat might be a tad wavier than his was. His fur is definitely more of the shaggy-wavy type and has changed drastically since he was a puppy. The hair around his face has changed the most. His beard is a lot longer and the hair covers his eyes pretty good now. My husband wants to cut it but I like it just like it is.
As for size, Boone was 7 1/2 lbs at 7 weeks and was 21 lbs at 3 months so they're tracking pretty much the same. He shot up like CRAZY between 4 and 6 months. People didn't even recognize him if they went a couple weeks between seeing him. He is now almost 7 months and from our weighing him at home he's already around 55 lbs. We were told he'd be around 60 or 70 but from all indications, it looks like he might end up closer to 80 or 90. He is solid, huge paws, finally starting to grow into his long lanky legs a little bit.
He has been a great puppy. He loves loves loves other dogs and basically any human he comes in contact with. And he is 100% devoted and obsessed with all of his toys. He spends hours going from one toy to the next. Although it is very difficult to find toys that he doesn't destroy in a couple days.
Hope this helps...enjoy Lola..she's beautiful!

Thanks for posting. Boone is extremely cute and sounds like a great dog!
Its just do hard to imagine how pups can grow from only 7-8 lbs to over 50.
Also Lola is a golden.
Thank you! It happens so fast. Sometimes I think he looks different in the evening than he did that morning.
Lola is a cutie and has a beautiful coat color! Enjoy your little girl.
Both Boone and Lola are adorable doodles.
Awww, she's such a cutie!!! My guess is she'll be at least 60, but you really never know. I have a mini who is 33 pounds at 8 months, but he was already 10 pounds at 9 weeks! He grew a lot very quickly then slowed down drastically. Remember that the fur she has now is puppy fur, so her adult coat could be completely different. Charlie is an F1b, so I was expecting curly. He had very similar fur to yours as a puppy, and he is now all over the place with different textures. He will probably change a little more still, but he is mostly wavy. He has an apricot stripe down his back that is curlier, but everything else is straight/wavy. He just got groomed so his fur is about 1 3/4" long (still very shaggy!) and it looks completely straight. The curls come alive when the fur gets longer LOL.

Thanks for all of the great comments!!!
Lola is 16 weeks today, so I am going to try and take her to get weighed since her vet appointment isn't till next Thursday.
Shes had some stomach issues for the last few weeks. We believe is started when we gave her a treat that didn't sit well with her, or it could be the food we are feeding her (Blue Buffalo). Her diarrhea is gone, but stools are still on the soft side.
Shes been on a mix of rice, pumpkin and boiled chicken for about a week now so we are going to start and transition her slowly onto a new kibble. (Fromm Large Breed Puppy).
Im not sure how much weight shes gained in the last few weeks, since I don't think she gets as much nutriance from the chicken, pumpkin and rice like she would be from puppy food.
Hi Everyone! Just a little update on Lola... Shes been scratching at her ear for the last few days so we took her into the vet yesterday. They found that she has an ear infections. After cleaning a bunch of dirt out of her ears, they inserted some medicine into her ears. We also got her weight, shes 26.2 lbs at 19 weeks.
How is her weight looking? Our vet is saying that she doesn't think Lola will even be 40lbs... I am not sure that I agree with her.
Loves her naps!!!
