Wonderful images Cheryl.  I visited New York just before 9/11 and have not been back since.   I do not think I am ready for that yet.

Thanks Linda. I understand that it is a hard personal decision because it was for me too. Most of my friends have gone or don't want to go. But my son went with me and that made it more special. I worked in the financial sector and sometimes went to the WTC for meetings. I had colleagues there and 2 of my son's friends were interning at the time.  So it took me a long time to be ready to go although I had gone to Ground Zero once.

I haven't been and really appreciate you sharing with us.  When we visited the memorial at Pearl Harbor, I got the chill you describe. It was a very emotional experience.

I would imagine that Pearl Harbor would be very emotional too.  I would love to see that some day.
