Newfypoo?

Hi all, I am new and was wondering if you all could help. My partner and I have been planning to get a goldendoodle for the past six months. Our breeder also breeds newfypoos, however, and we recently have been debating whether we should go that route instead (I have always had a huge soft spot for the giant breed dogs). It is, however, much harder to find any information on newfypoos, as they seem to be a more recent cross. 

Does anyone out there have a newfypoo? Would you be willing to tell me about your experience with them?? How have they compared to goldendoodles? Any advice or thoughts you might have to share would be welcome!

They'll cross anything with a Poodle!  I don't know anything about them but I love giant dogs too - so gentle! What keeps me away is their short lifespan.

We have two Newfypoo's! They are full sisters, different litters, and are F1's.  Like other doodle F1's, it is the luck of the draw how their genetics end up.  Clara is built like and her personality is more newfie like. Brook seems much more poodlie.  Both have non sheading coats, Clara more fleece, Brook is wooly, both require the same amount of grooming.  Clara weighs 134 lbs. and Brook is 72 lbs.  They are great members of our family, each with their own fun personality.   They are both very smart too and they were easily trained for the most part.  Clara can be a bit more stubborn (or should that be lazier) than Brook.  Good luck in your search, which ever breed that you decide on.
