I think it depends on who the Amazon vendor is. I agree that I would not take a chance.
Judy, somehow you've duplicated this discussion, and there are now 2 of them here in this group with replies in both. I've closed the other one and moved the response here:

wow, this is good to know. I purchase a lot of supplements for mine on Amazon. Hadn't even thought of this with pet products other than the flea and tick...I get those from Chewy, usually..
Did you purchase direct from Amazon or a third party seller. It really does sound suspicious with the mislabeling.

It does depend on whether you are purchasing directly or through a third party Amazon vendor. You have to be careful about which vendor you order from, and going with whoever has the lowest price is usually not the best idea. There are a lot of counterfeit pet products from China out there.
If you do a search on Amazon for "proviable paste for dogs", you do get several different vendors selling it for different prices.
The vendor will show up on your bill if you paid by CC, or on your bank statement if you used a debit card. I don't use Paypal and don't have Amazon Prime, so not sure how those work. I do everything on my computer, never a phone, and I always get an email order confirmation which I save. If you have that, it might give the vendor's name.
Guess Nutramax employeed don't know their own packaging????
I have had camera battery substitutions by a third party vender. If the price is too good to be true, it probably is.. The vender substituted their brand rather than real Cannon batteries. I did get a refund but it was a hard fight! Most other things I've ordered from Amazon seem to be what I ordered, but I have ordered petite shirts and received regular ones - usually when ordering from out of the country. Again, if the price is too good to be true, it probably is..... I have ordered Proviable from Amazon and it seemed to be the correct product.
