Is 16 weeks too young for first trip to groomer?

Hi everyone!

I would like to take Henry in for his first bath and a partial groom; trim hair from foot pads, hygiene area and scissor trim his face around the eyes (because I swear most days I can't even see them for all the fur). He is a bit of a handful at this age and I certainly don't want to stress him out and create a bad first experience. Have any of you taken your puppy to be groomed like this at this age?

Thanks Nancy! We have booked a spa visit for next week with a groomer that does a lot of doodles in our city. She told me that I can expect Henry's visit to be 2-4 hours to allow time for her to introduce him to all the new things like bath, clippers and dryer slowly. Looking forward to being able to see his eyeballs again and having a sweet smelling pup....all those rolls in the grass at the park (despite daily brushing) has him smelling like a sweaty 5 year old child LOL.

I successfully gave him his first bath at home this weekend, man I loved having that fluffy clean bundle of fur to love on! He tolerated the shower and being wet and loved the blow dryer, to him it was a game LOL. Can't wait to be able to see his eyeballs clearly after Wednesday!
