Your puppy is really too young to have any kind of allergy, seasonal or otherwise. The "detox" theory doesn't really make sense from a science-based standpoint, either. It's possible that the Fromm formula, while it's a better quality than Science Diet, has a lower Omega 3 content or a higher Omega 6:3 ratio, which might account for itchiness, but I think a vet visit might be a good idea to have her checked for mites, fleas, or other parasites. If nothing is found, you might consider adding a fish oil supplement to her diet. I hope your vet doesn't try to talk you into going back to Science Diet. :)

My little AnnaBelle was very itchy when she was around this same age, maybe even a little younger. Someone told me about this shampoo and I used it and she was much better. She has been fine ever sense.
Good point. Over-bathing them can dry out the skin and make them itchy, too.
Just realized I didn't post the shampoo bar! This is what I used.
That's great that you are paying attention to your dogs diet. I had to take Elli in to the Vet last month for itching. Never a good thing. The vet put her on an antibiotic and another medication for the itching. ..cleared everything up. My vet recommends Pet Cod Liver Oil daily to help with their coats..I give the girls a teaspoon every day, whether they need it or not LOL...they love it(probably cause it smells so awful). Good luck...the Vets are usually pretty good at clearing up the itchies!
