This morning at the vet's office, Wally's doctor said that she wished she could clone him and have a Wally for herself. What more can I say about my sweet boy?!

Awww. How nice.  We took Charlie for his shots yesterday and the vet (who rarely gives compliments) said Charlie had a gorgeous coat but that he made her job easier.  I guess she meant because he calmly lounged on the floor while she did her thing.  While Charlie does have a gorgeous coat, he is absolutely NOT normally a calm guy.  He was not calm because he was frightened, he just had a great day!

That is a great complement!  My vet too loves Picco.  He said his next dog was going to be a Goldendoodle but as his last dog was on it's deathbed a stray young pitbull mix showed up at his door.

Wally is one of her absolute favorite patients. A couple of years ago, she took an x-ray of one of his molars with him awake and unattended! She put the film between his teeth and told him to stay put, while she left the room and took the image. She said that in her 30-plus-year career, she has never trusted a dog enough to do that before him. Earlier this week, she aspirated what turned out (thankfully) to be a very tiny benign cyst on his neck. He remained perfectly still while she stuck him repeatedly to try to extract enough material to send off to the lab. Wally is very cooperative and obedient, plus is a total sweetie-pie. We are so lucky that he's ours!
