I will be SO glad when the cold weather is done and I don't have to wear gloves when Zoey and I are out walking.  She is usually a good little walker, but is obsessed with gloves on!  She jumps up towards my hands several times at the beginning of the walk - then usually calms down - then occasionally gets a sideways glance and again does it.  Drives me nuts!!!   :^)    It's so strange sometimes what they get in their head.

OMG - just thought about my gardening gloves!!!!!  Will it ever end?!!

Had to post an update.  Yesterday I was at the dog park with my now 10 month old Zoey.  There were city people there doing some landscape work and one of the guys had a pair of gloves stuffed hanging out of his back jeans pocket.  My little thief grabbed one and ran with this big guy chasing her.  Duh - just what she wanted!!!   lol   She wouldn't drop it for him, but did for me after a fun run!  So she is still at it!!

Too cute!  Keep it up Zoey - ha ha!

Ned once stole treats out of a treat pouch when the person knelt down to talk with his dog.  He never noticed and I never told!  :-}

What a smarty pants!!!

That's funny!  Better not take Zoey to a pro golf tournament!  Actually, she would probably 'steal' the show :)

Haha, that little stinker. Annabelle did the same thing her first winter. She ruined my favorite pair with furry cuffs. I thought maybe she thought they were alive.  The good news is that was the end of it. Now she pays no attention to them. My gardening gloves didn't have the same appeal and by the next winter she must have been over it. Maybe by winter Zoey will have outgrown it. That first birthday is a turning point for a lot of their shenanigans to end. At least it was for Annabelle. But that must have been kind of funny to watch as a bystander.

In a way I am looking forward to her being more mature, but I will sure miss these types of funny moments.  I'm going to enjoy them for now.

There are always worse habits they can have. Be thankful for a glove fetish!

Well, as long as they don't ingest them, in whole or in part. Many a doodle has ingested a sock, and that can be a death sentence, or a $3000+ ER bill. I personally wouldn't encourage the habit, for that reason.  Not to be a wet blanket, but I'm not a fan of allowing dogs to grab things from people, in general.
