Wondering if she will look like a doodle?

Our puppy is 8 weeks old. Just wonder if you all think she will look like a doodle. We have been asked if she is a retriever already. She doesn't seem to have muc of a beard and most seem to already show signs by now right? Just wondering at what point can you really tell if she will have a open face.

I think yoirnpup will get more waivy than now. Our Leo was similar to yours a few months ag at 8 weeks, but now his back and sides are really waivy and his furnishings are finally coming in. He's not as curly as some of these doodles but instead more waivy or shaggy. His coat is also lighter. I'm actually glad ours tends to look a little more like a lab with stronger or a more stout stance. He's now 17 or almost 18 weeks and about 36 lbs. we couldn't be any happier with how he's turning out, even though he's not as Curly as we initially wanted.

Thank you for your reply. Hopefully she will get some wavy to her soon. Your doodle is def getting some wavy in his coat. I can't wait to see who mine changes

Haley at 8 weeks.  When I took him to the vet the immediate reaction was "a Golden Retriever puppy!"
