Gave Yeti a new chew yesterday I believe it has given him an upset tummy. He hardly ate this morning but I chalked it up to the humidity and heat. He has been a bump on a log all afternoon and I took him out to go potty and he had soft poop. Anything I can give him for an upset stomach caused by a chew?

I'd just limit treats and chews, and stick with just his food for a couple of days. If he gets worse, you may want to go to the homemade bland diet. What kind of chew was it?

Okay! That would be easy enough :) We don't give him treats other than his food very often.
I tried these to help his oral hygiene / breath. He doesn't have awful breath but I thought there may be room for improvement.

Well, I'm feeling bad now, because I recommended the Virbac C.E.T. products to you, lol. But those particular chews have some ingredients that might cause a dog with a sensitive stomach like Yeti to have a digestive upset, including the fact that they're beefhide. I wouldn't give him any more of them. They used to have an oral spray, but I don;t see it on their website.  Maybe stick with just toothpaste.

Don't feel bad at all!!! His stomach is crazy sensitive I should have never given them to him but I was hopeful and you never know until you try! I will look for the petzlife spray :) Thank you so much!

You could try Petzlife oral care spray, the ingredients look okay to me.

But wait til his stomach settles back to normal.

Poor Yeti.  Sending wishes for a better feeling tummy tomorrow.

Thank you :) He just ate more breakfast than he ate all day yesterday so hopefully that is a good sign!
Yeti had solid poop about an hour ago! Never in my life would I have thought poop would make me so happy :)

LOL, amazing the things that we start appreciating when we have dogs!

No kidding! I swear when Henry had Giardia MY stomach was on an emotional rollercoaster; every twinge was based on the consistency of his stools LOL.

Yay!

Well in a crazy turn of events, I'm now thinking he was never sick from the chew. Today he pooped out a couple pieces of foam / the material from a dog bed that his doggie friend tore up while he was staying with us. I thought I had it all cleaned up but evidentially Yeti got a piece of it before anyone could notice. That was on Sunday, which would explain upset tummy / soft stool on Monday.
