I'm a bit concerned.. As of yesterday Teddy has been not to regular in his poop.. (I know gross but hear me out) I came home yesterday afternoon and let him out and he pooped but... it was covered in like mucus or some milky substance. Then after that he squatted to poop again and he just was only pooping out like mucus not even actual feces. He was acting regular and fine such as eating and playing but he he kept having full on no shape diarrhea poop. It got so bad to the point. While outside he couldn't help but poop on himself and it was like green and very light in color and no shape super mushy. (Sorry to be describing poop to you lol) but he isn't fully vaccinated he has one more shot to go before he is in the clear but he did run into a few dogs and got in there face before I could pull him back to me.

I've been fasting him today and at first his poop was regular and fine but then I noticed the more he started to go it was mushy and coated in mucus, and then just plain watery almost and just a puddly of mush... and different color almost like a orange/ yellow color. He has a vet appointment tomorrow but I'm wondering will I need to take him tonight. I don't know what to do right now he still runs and plays but his poop is really bad and irregular.

Any questions and advice is definitely needed thanks so much

Sorry to hear this- it's horrible when our babies aren't feeling well and they can't tell us what's the matter. My Teddy just had this very same thing happen last week. He went a few days with the watery, 'pudding like' poop and threw up once. I talked to the vet and, after hearing he threw up, she definitely wanted to see him. Usually they say if the diarrhea is accompanied by vomiting, lethargy, or any change in eating/drinking habits, to bring them in right away. Of course, they couldn't figure out what was wrong and chalked it up to him eating something nasty in the backyard. They prescribed an antibiotic (which I always struggle with because that seems to be their answer for everything) and a bland diet. You should be ok waiting until tomorrow, but if I were you I'd get him in as soon as you can. Good luck!

The danger for the moment is dehydration; it's very important that you get fluids into him any way you can. Check his gums. They should be deep pink and slippery. If they are pale or tacky, I'd try to get him to the vet today.

And, if you do go to the vet, be sure to take  samples from several of his stools in case he has a parasite.

I am so glad you found out what it was and he has meds to clear them up.  Hooray for the easy fix.
