Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

First let me say that we would like to thank all DK members who have contributed to RESCUED DOODLES, DOODLES IN NEED and THE DOODLE TRAIN...and Adina for providing us with this wonderful social forum ..We appreciate your help friendship and support always...: )

As you may know we have moved these groups to their own location within our new Doodle Rescue and Resource Collective Forum in partnership with IDOG and Poomix Rescue...

While the rescue elements of our involvement with DoodleKisses may have moved, we continue to be part of The DoodleKisses Forum and Family.

Our decision to relocate these groups was not an easy one nor was it meant as an assault or statement against DoodleKisses, our site administrator or its members in any way.

It simply become evident that the topic of "Doodle Rescue" was in need of its own home. We came to this decision based on many factors most notably the NUMEROUS and REPEATED complaints we received from various DK members as to the saturation of "Sad Rescue Related Topics" posted within both the main forum and groups on DoodleKisses.

I am curious as to the new surge of Rescue related topics, formation of new rescue groups and interest now appearing in the Main Forum on Doodle Kisses given these previous complaints??..We have not received any direct correspondance from anyone relaying to us that they are upset by our decision.....

We apologize if some DK members are feeling "put off" or "offended" by our decision to create a site devoted to Doodle Rescue but we did so as a way to expand our ability to concentrate on rescue and continue to help doodle dogs in need through our partnerships with IDOG and Poomix Rescue....THE DOODLE TRAIN is now OFFICIALLY an IDOG organization..

We consider your friendship, interest and contributions to doodle rescue valuable and we appreciate, love and respect each and every one of you! That being said we apologize if we have mistakenly assumed that you would like to continue to be part of THE DOODLE TRAIN regardless of its location. Lynne and I took the liberty of transferring your info as a way to maintain your membership in The Train as we make the switch...We also inserted links to your DK pages as a way to both contact you through DK and to acknowledge The Train’s origins as part of The DoodleKisses Forum.

In the interest of protecting your privacy, if for any reason you would like us to remove any part of your info and/or your Doodle Train membership, please let us know and we will be happy to remove that info as soon as we receive your confirmation.

Please feel free to join us at THE DOODLE RESCUE AND RESOURCE COLLECTIVE or contact us directly....

Thank you for your support, patience and understanding.

Thank you for all the hard work. I feel that how people treat those who are dependent on them/who have less "power" than they do is indicative of their character & sometimes it's not pretty. Thank you for taking on this vital mission. I'll continue to help as much as I can. Hopefully staying connected to DK in other ways while placing the rescue group in another forum will allow both sites & their members to do what they do best.
Thank you so much Cam....That is the plan.....and thank you for all that you do for rescue....
I appreciate what you have done and continue to do for dog rescue. I think people need their consciousnesses (what a word) raised. I don't mind at all that you transferred my information to your new site - does this mean I don't have to register? I am sorry for the complaints of others and didn't realize that was why you chose to move. This doesn't seem valid because you have to click on something to open it up. There are areas of doodlekisses that I have no interest in so I don't open those discussions or if I am tired of a discussion, I stop following. Again, thank you for keeping people informed about problems. If we don't know about something, we can't help.
Nancy, Thank You for your kindness. We appreciate you and your time in doodle rescue, too. You do still have to join, however, because it is seperate. There was no way to connect them.
Thanks Nancy.....I agree with you.....I had posted the very same response to the complaints several times myself..in fact I may have inadvertantly pissed a few people off with that response.....lol...but WHAT ELSE IS NEW!...LOL......but I guess that I can understand why some people would not want to see the sadder aspects of homeless doodles in the DK forum.....
Well I understand your reasons...however was just fine with the groups here...anyway. You are a wonderful person and do wonderful things for these animals. I applaud you!!
Thank you Lori!
Thanks to both of you for all you do for our doodles in need! I must navigate this site with blinders on because I had not run across any of this negativeness (may have just created a word), but I understand your reasoning and appreciate that y'all are so dedicated to the cause. I will miss following the groups here on DK. I often went on and read and re-read the doodle rescue story because they were so amazing. It takes truly amazing and special people to rescue pups and I can't say how much I appreciate what y'all do enough. I look forward to joining the new site, keeping up with the rescue doodle mission, and hope that y'all keep doing what you do! Thanks, Kelli and Fenway
I praise you for the work you do rescuing doodles.

Jacquie - I tried to find those new rescue groups that you are mentioning - to post a WA State Rehome Doodle, but couldn't find one. Please, help!
