Coat question!

Hey all! We are so excited to welcome our first doodle pup into our home. We are currently torn between 2 pups...#1 is calm, has a beautiful coat, but a little apprehensive. #2 is friendly and playful, but has a very straight coat. We are leaning towards #2, but I am really hoping he will “doodle out” with a fluffy/wavy coat. What do you think? Will only #1 have that classic doodle look, or could #2 have it as well?

They both have furnishings and are both going to look very doodle-y.

I agree. Both coats look lovely and will grow into doodle looking adults.

Very cute puppies.  Do you see the parents of the puppy - just curious if they bred back to a golden.

Yes, both the mom and dad are Goldendoodles! The mom (the light cream one) is super curly, almost like a poodle, and the dad (the reddish one) is very curly/wavy.

Our Sedona was a multi-gen labradoodle. She had a pretty smooth coat as a puppy, but doodled out quite nicely. In the adult pictures, she’s groomed pretty short, but you can sense the waves that would be there if we let her go long.
