Is my doodle a flat coat or improper coat?

His facial hair didn’t start coming in until he was 5 or so months and it started at the bottom. Now his hair on his face is getting longer and sprouting lol. All of his body hair is getting longer and the sides are getting longer too. He very lightly sheds but rarely.. anyone with a doodle like mine? He’s an F1 goldendoodle and will be 1 on Dec 16 :) will everything keep growing and fill out after he turns 1?

[Rosie's Family]

His nose reminds me of Rosie.... She just refuses to grow hair on top of her nose to get that nice full beard... She likes the fu manchu.
