Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Hi, Mini goldendoodle owners, how big is your doodle and what age is he/she at? Just trying to see if I really have a mini or if she is going to turn out being a standard. Lol! Look forward to hearing your responses.

How cute!!! Yep, he will be a big mini also. At 5 months old Blakeleigh was 32lbs. I actually made my boyfriend get on and off the scale with Blakeleigh last night and she was 57lbs at 7.5 months. She just has shorter legs compared to the standards we are friends with.

I'm curious how big mine will be too. He's 9 mos. and weighs 40 lbs. Mom was a golden retriever who weighed about 60. Dad was a miniature poodle.

Jessie is going to be 4 months on Feb 2, and she is about 19 pounds now. We bought her as Mini, and her parents were both goldendoodles 30 and 35 pounds. I hope she is going to be about the same :)

Well, my Mini is actually a Toy Goldendoodle.  Teddy is just over 18 months old and weighs 13 pounds.

Sky is a F1b mini golden doodle. She is 17 months and only weighs 15lbs. The vet was really surprised how small she has stayed. Her mother is a 25lb golden doodle and the father is a miniature poodle. I’m happy with her size since I can pick her up and she lays her head on my shoulder like a baby.

I would think that Sky is fully-grown, no ?  My friend's son has a female Mini....she weights 12 pounds, so a drop smaller than Teddy.  For all 3 breeds -- Standard, Mini, and Toy -- you have a variance and it's possible for a big one to be larger than a smaller one from a larger breed.  My breeder has had fully-grown Toys that were 6 pounds, but most of the small ones are low-teens.

I have met only 1 other Toy Goldendoodle since I got Teddy and he was 3 years old and 23 pounds.  But now a girl at the local dog park is getting a Toy Goldendoodle this weekend so I am looking forward to seeing her and her Toy in a few months to play with Teddy !  She thinks the dog will max out at about 15 pounds...we'll see.

Milo is a mini and he is 16 months and weights 40 pounds.  Breeder expected him to get to 35 lbs.

Any chance she’ll be a medium size Labradoodle?  Breeder said medium size.  Labradoodle is 4 months and weigh 21 lbs. Her parents were 30 & 40 lbs

They say that if you double the doodle's weight at the age of 16 weeks you will get a very good indication of the adult weight, give or take five pounds.  That equation has been correct for a lot of the doodles on this DK website.  So your puppy would be in the 37 - 47 pound range.  BTW, I love her black nose!

Sounds like she will be about the same size as her parents.  What a great size for a house doodle!

Can someone please tell me what is a Poidle crossed with a Goldendoodle

If you have an F1 goldendoodle (poodle crossed with lab or retriever) and cross that back with a poodle you will have an F1B doodle

Here is a good discussion to give you an idea - I'm sure there are more but I just quickly got this from the search engine.  http://www.doodlekisses.com/m/discussion?id=2065244%3ATopic%3A858296
