To a groomer? I'd take her every 4 - 8 weeks so she gets used to the expectations and nothing is scary to her. Then as she needs to more often. We take our dogs monthly.
I take my two every other month.
An 8 week old puppy probably does not need to be groomed. A good brushing is sufficient. To get your little puppy used to being handled, touch and lightly massage his feet, head, ears and various parts of the body, when he is laying quietly resting. Also use a soft brush and gently brush her. This is a great bonding experience and teaches them you are to be trusted. Neither of mine went to a groomer until they were 4 or 5 months old, and then only for a bath & puppy clip. Now as adults they go every 8 weeks, but I do brush regularly and daily heads & tails. Good luck with your new puppy.
I recommend taking her to the groomer for the experience as young as possible. That way when they really do need grooming they are not afraid. My dog's sibling has been sent home from the groomer twice because she is terrified and can't be groomed. I don't think they took her when she was younger. I started mine at 4 months and now at a year, she is a pro at the groomers.
