I feel like I am constantly changing her food and maybe doing more harm because I am listening to all advice. Very confused.

Well, you can't listen to conflicting advice. You need to follow the advice of someone you trust, who has the educational background behind the advice. What other changes have you made? Last we heard, you were feeding Rx food and pumpkin & rice, and I gave you some advice about a better bland diet to follow until the stool firmed up, and then switch back to Zignature. Also about giving a good probiotic. Have you done that?

Hi,  I switched Atticus very slowly to the Zignature and also give him probiotics...he is occasionally gassy, but not really a problem.  Because we live in Manhattan, I clean up after every poop, so it's easy for me to monitor his stool, and when I totally transitioned to the Zignature with the daily probiotics, his stool has been very firm., which is the reason I love the Zignature.   Additionally, Atticus is training as a therapy dog who will support young victims of violent crime, so I've been very cautious relevant to the training treats....I use Pure bites and have gradually introduced other high quality treats without any problems.

Jenny, there's not need to start a new discussion each time there is an update or dvelopment with the same issue with Sadie. It's easier if you just post in the original discussion, where all of the information is, so that we don;t have to go looking for it to refresh our memories about the issues.

Have you been giving her the probiotics? What kind are they? Had her stool firmed up before you switched back to Zignature?

Some gassiness is normal when you make radical dietary changes.

I give her proviable from the vet. I haven't been outside to check stools. I have been working a lot plus it's so cold. My spouse is getting irritated on food for her. I only want what is best. Vet wants hills prescription and all doodle owners say dont feed her hills. She was having diarrhea on zignature but she also was on antibiotics and worm medication. I just don't want to keep screwing with her stomach. Sorry. I am frustrated.

I know it's cold, but it really is important to go out with her and check the stools, so that you know what's going on with her. Also to clean up immediately, which helps revent them from reinfecting themselves from contact with contaminated stool in the yard.

What kind of worms did she have? Have they run a repeat fecal to check if the meds cleared them?

Round worms

I just wanted to add that I use the probiotics which I believe Karen recommended.  I purchase them on Amazon and they are called:

Nutramax Proviable DC Capsules for Cats and Dog

That is what I use.
I went outside to check her stools after putting her back on zignature. They are very loose and way bigger than when I had her on Hills sensitive stomach for 7 days.
