There's so much joy in watching our doodles romping in a dog park  Today, my goofy, 65 + lb Atticus, (aka Atty Batty) was so excited when he managed carry a stick in his mouth and run at the same time...he literally was smiling at his accomplishment.  Just had to share these pictures....he always makes me laugh!

He is adorable.

Thank you so much, Karen....a recent doodlekisses member who has a puppy named Oliver, is my neighbor, and our dogs romp together in the park.  Oliver's mom commented how knowledgeable you are about food, and the invaluable suggestions you have given her.....I can't thank you enough for your patience and guidance towards helping me select a proper food for Atticus;  I will readily admit that without your advice, I would still be struggling to find a quality food that met Atticus' sensitive tummy needs.  I found the complexity of selecting a high quality food was overwhelming....and  was particularly anxious after losing my beloved Paz at such a young age, in that my anxiety to do the right thing for Atticus, literally clouded my ability to think straight!   As always, thank you for all your support and the incredible research you have  and continue to do on behalf of all the Doodlekisses members.

Thanks for the kind words. :)

What a cutie pie!!!  We also love to go to the dog park.  Zoey loves people and other dogs.  It may sound funny, but it seems like she gets along best with other doodles.  I wonder if they know something!!

There's one named Libby that we see often that is a black & white parti labradoodle that she is particularly fond of.  When they spot each other, it is non-stop wrestling.  People stop to watch the two little rag dolls roll around!  It is a  definite joyful moment!

Atticus is always drawn to other doodles and the feelings are definitely mutual....doodles seem to know they are somehow related!  It's a to riot watch them literally pull each others hair, while they wrestle....so much fun!

What a goofball!  You should be proud of yourself Atty!    Love the fluffy coat too

He is so very proud...in his silly way!

Beautiful!!! and sassy.

My puppy (litter born 3/13) will be ready to come home Mother's Day weekend.

I love the longer haired look, but I'm definitely worried about severe matting. Does Atty Batty mat? How much time do you spend trying to keep up with his cute look?

I brush him everyday and use a great conditioner called "Cowboy Magic," which can be applied after a bath and to dry hair in between groomings.  There are several dematting tools which I use in between groomings; I would suggest you go to the grooming group where you will receive great advice regarding selecting a grooming tool that best meets the needs of a puppy, and an adult doodle.  Atticus is in training as a Pet Partners therapy dog who will provide support to young crime victims, including accompanying them to court etc, therefore, I bathe him once a week and he is professionally groomed about every two months.  I'm fortunate that Atticus loves jumping into the bathtub, and is comfortable being brushed.....I started brushing him at a very young age, and made a game out of it, so he doesn't resist the regular brushing etc.  Good luck with your new doodle baby....you are in for such a wonderful treat!

Oh, he is a gorgeous, fluffy dood!

Thanks Carol...he's almost 70 lbs of absolute joy....

So much fluff! <3  I can't even...omg I wanna hug him so bad.
