Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Hello everybody! I'm new to doodlekisses.com. I picked this puppy and I'm getting her in a month. The photo is attached! She is F1 and a mini/medium golden doodle, expected to be 30-35lb for full grown. She is currently 4 weeks old.

I'm already so in love with her. I think she is super cute. I can see some wavy hair but I wonder what you guys all think?

I will love her no matter what -- just curious!

Also please feel free to post some photos of your doodles on the comments! I haven't seen many adult doodles in person! Please help this new mom out!

What a little cutie :)

For sure she will "doodle out" in my opinion.  Wavy hair everywhere including the legs and muzzle.

Here's a picture of our smooth-coated doodle, Luna, when she was about 11 weeks old.  You can see her hair is very straight and muzzle has none of the "scruff".  Her leg hair is also very short (and still is, minus a bit of feathering).

Good luck with your new puppy!

Awww Luna is SO cute! Thanks for sharing. Is she F1?

She is an F1 "mini", her sire was a mini poodle.

For some reason a lot of the pups from that particular poodle have straight hair, but we never asked for pedigrees etc. being how naive we were, so he could have been a mix who knows!

She's so sweet!  I too think she'll "doodle".  I attached individual pics of my Maggie (she's the smooth coated doodle) and her sister Gracie (my aunt has her) at 8 weeks old.  Then I attached a pic of both of them at a playdate last week a little over 5 months old.  They are both from the same litter and are F2's.  (Mom was a mini /golden mix, and Dad was a standard/golden mix).  At first I was disappointed that Mags wasn't very wavy (loved her just the same), but after playing they were muddy messes and Maggie was MUCH easier to groom. :)   Congrats on your new baby!!
