'Carol and Pup-to-be' is now 'Carol and Truffle'!

Decided on her name last week ... Truffle; picked her up on Sunday in Flagstaff, AZ & drove home to Albuquerque, NM ... about a 6 hour drive.

Poor thing got car sick twice on the trip. But she's all better now.

She's so loving & learning very quickly. She was 9 weeks old on Tueday.

This photo was taken in the car on the way from AZ to NM & I think really shows her scraggly potential :)

Our Polly got sick when we brought her home too, took her quite awhile to get past it, we still keep cleaner, paper towels and plastic bags in the car just in case.  But she loves to go any time she has the opportunity.

Very darling!  Congrats.  It's a good time to get her too.  You won't have to take her outside to potty at night when it's cold outside!

You know {knock on wood}, the breeder had begun potty training, and I take her out at about 11pm (I'm a night owl & still up) and then put her to bed in her crate, which is covered. My husband (who is a morning person; I'm not) takes her out around 5:45am. She sleeps through the night and we have not gotten up to take her out between 11pm & 545am.

So far, the only daytime accidents she has had have been because I got distracted & forgot to pay attention.

She already sits, not to the cue word, but because we are using a training program that requires that she sit for EVERYTHING that she wants, including to get food, to get petted, to get picked up. She is making tremendous progress with this already.

Today is her first day at my work. I got here around 1030am & she has been sleeping after having my coworkers coo over her for a while.
