For years I bought marrow bones for Haley from a local grocery store.  The store has closed and the only place I can find raw "dog" bones is a packing company about 50 miles away.  They carry sliced neck bones, sliced knuckle bones and shank/femur bones.

What I would like to know are sliced knuckle bones (raw) safe for dogs?

I have no idea, as I've never heard of these before and can't really tell from the photo what they look like or how big they are.
A lot of pet supply stores carry frozen marrow bones and other types of bones in a freezer section. Would there be anything like that near you?
I almost always see fresh raw marrow bones in the meat case at most grocery stores. I think sometimes they call them "soup bones". Have you checked other grocers in your area? How about butcher shops?

We are in almost a food wasteland.  Food Lion, Walmart (20+ miles away) and convenient stores.  Local F.L. and Walmart don't  carry soup bones (marrow bones).

There's a Pet Paradise in Carrollton; I know that's not super close, but better than 50 miles, lol. They carry raw marrow bones there, I believe.

Thanks. I will check them out.
