that’s interesting! I will update as time goes on and if she has stayed the same weight like your Kona.
I'd love to see a current photo of Elsie.
She certainly is a cute pup - still really tiny? I LOVE her rich black color. My first dog was black like Elsie, so I am very partial.
she really is so tiny! I did not expect her to stay small but I love it. We are thinking 16lbs will be her end weight.
Hi,
She is absolutely precious! I have a mini golden doodle that is open faced, but not short hair. I think you should take some pics to enter in the calendar photos. She really is stunning and takes pics so beautifully!
Best of luck,
Christine
Hi Christine! I think I will enter calendar "contest" when it opens. Thanks so much, and your pup is really cute I like her long hairs!
Hi
I love the picture you took of her looking up, she is on a deck of some kind. I think she will have a tail similar to my Nala. Nala has a tail that curves like Elsie’s, but has a plume effect to it. Her tail evolved as she grew...lol. She shows her spunky personality waving her tail around. I don’t have any recent pics uploaded to show you, but will try to find a pic of Nala’s tail.
Love her! And I love her feathers on her tail. She looks like she is probably going to remain pretty small. Does she shed much? We have a member here with a Whoops-a-doodle (she brought Josie home as a Labradoodle, but later found out through DNA testing that a Greyhound snuck in on one of the parent''s side), and she didn't start getting any rippling or furnishing around her lower back and tail until several years old, so Elsie will probably get more furnishings down the road along her back and tail. She is adorable just the way she is. I'll bet she turns a lot of heads and gets lots of questions!
She does shed moderately, but I hardly notice it unless I am wearing light colored clothes. We also have a ragdoll kitty and he sheds a lot more, but Elsie's shedding is always the one that floats to unfortunate places like my makeup brushes! She tends to shed more of the shorter hairs than the ones that are more than an inch long.
I just wanted to say that your puppy is absolutely adorable! Seeing that puppy smile made my morning! You are so good at photographing her- I had no idea how challenging it is to photograph dark-haired dogs until I got Cocoa.
thank you so much Leslie J! It is very challenging to get good pics. I find the best ones are usually outside!
