Petcurean and Potatoes

Karen, in reading the ingredients of Petcurean Now, I notice potato and potato meal. In reading some of your past comments, I thought that you said sweet potatoes were OK but that potatoes were a no go. I am confused. Can you offer a clarification. Thanks.

I don't think I've ever said that potatoes are a no go. The are not as nutritious as sweet potatoes, so if someone is feeding a homemade bland diet, you'd want to use sweet potatoes rather than white potatoes, since the potatoes make up half the diet. But as a starch ingredient in kibble, they are fine for most dogs.
