Dog food recall

This message was sent to me and I am sharing in case anyone feeds these brands to their pup.

Sunshine Mills Inc. is recalling select Evolve, Sportsman’s Pride, and Triumph dry dog foods because of potentially elevated Vitamin D levels.

The voluntary recall follows prior recalls of specific lots of Natural Life, Nutrisca, Orlando, Abound, Nature’s Place and Nature’s Promise brands of dry dog food manufactured by Sunshine. The recall is being carried out in cooperation with the Food and Drug Administration, Sunshine Mills of Red Bay, Alabama, is recalling 3 brands of dog food sold nationwide. Evolve, Sportsman's Pride and Triumph are being recalled due to excessive levels of vitamin D -- a situation which can cause serious health issues in dogs.
