Puppies at 5 weeks!
Puppy Update: 5 weeks old!
Well at this point it seems the girl has all kinds of advantages over her brothers! She is Sparky and perky’s and they are kind of dazed and confused. Here’s a video of the girl (the breeders kids name her Lucy)and one of the boys which will represent all of the boys! (Hope these videos work!)

Oh, I bet those boys will be snugglers and the darling girl will be spunky! I have forgotten if you prefer a boy this time or a girl. Love her chocolate color.

Truth I’d I prefer a boy but, no matter what I wanted, a boy is what I would be getting because I am up way down on the list! And I agree that the little girl is going to be a happy handful! Not sure if the boys are going to be snugglers or if they’re just a little bit slower to blossom out . . .

Riley was a very calm snuggler when we brought her home.. she is basically a giant muppet of a goofball now and I'm convinced she is part kangaroo. I don't even know anymore if their personality can be judged at all at 5-7 weeks lol.

So cute :)
Luna was the spunky "alpha" of her litter... and ended up being a calm, submissive adult but also silly and playful. We did do quite of a bit of training with her as a pup to quell her alpha tendencies so maybe that's why... but she was very different as an adult than her puppy profile would suggest.
The jury is still out on Riley but her adult personality is shaping up to be calm mixed with ridiculous goofiness.

I think you’re right. I have heard that personalities develop over their growing years but a puppy will display its temperament.
I get the kangaroo! Dakota was also a maniac as a puppy and through his young adult years. He got the nickname of KotaRoo as a nod to his kangaroo side!
