What really makes this so wonderful is the way you caught the oranges and reds just to the top of the row of trees....Beautiful image!

WOW!  The layers of color are exquisite.  You couldn't have set anything up as gorgeous as this. What a beautiful shot and how wonderful it must have been to actually see it with your eyes.

Thanks, Nancy.  It really was a beautiful sunset.  This is how it started in the S.W.

I watched it fade then went in the house, put my camera away and started to go upstairs when I saw what was happening in the N.W.  Went back and got my camera and by the time I got outside the brilliant red sky had faded to the first image.  I should really watch until it gets dark.
