New Soon to Be Doodle Moms

Thank you for adding me. This is a great website with fantastic resources!  I just don’t know what questions to ask yet!  I have been reading already, trying to prepare!

My wife and I are soon to be New Doodle Moms!  We have adopted Zoey!  She is almost 3 weeks old, and a black doodle.  Her Mom, Oakley, is a beautiful chocolate lab and her Dad, Riley, is a handsome standard apricot poodle.  Our gotcha day is April 27th.  We are so excited!

We met her on St. Pat’s Day and she slept the entire time!  We’ll take our Brittany/Lab mix, AJA to meet her when she’s ready to come home.

Thank you!  It’s very exciting!  We got her “baby crate” set up by the bed yesterday.  Still have to set up I the big crate(wit divider) in our family rooms for daytime.....

My daughter is getting her labradoodle soon.  She got her crate this week too as well as a gate for her stairs. She is very excited too. Her pup is a cream color girl.

I know your daughter is excited, too!  I bet her girl is adorable!  We love the dark ones, but you can usually see the expressive faces better with the light colored ones in the photos!

She is very excited.  This will be the first time she has actually had a pup that isn't the entire family's.

She is getting her  puppy on April 20th.  Its a girl!  The puppy is a birthday gift from me and the puppies were born on her birthday. So they share birthdays.  Photos are coming soon.

That’s awesome!  It sounds like our babies are about a week apart.  Zoey was born on March 3rd.  How old is your daughter and her name?  Is she on DoodleKisses?

Alexis is 24.  We got our bichon when Alexis was 9 but we had to put her to sleep about two years ago.  I have a yorkie now but Alexis was headed to college when we got our yorkie so they aren't as close.  So my daughter is really excited to have a new companion.

I got a bichon when I was 9, she lived 18.5 years :)  I moved out before my parents had to put her down, she met baby Luna before she passed.
