I'm picking up our puppy today from the vet after being spayed yesterday.  I've heard it is really hard trying to keep them from running, jumping, chasing, etc. for two weeks.  I'm looking for advice on what others have done to get through this period.   Thanks!

Riley was tethered or in her crate almost the whole time she was recovering.  A couple days in we started taking her for short walks but no playing.  I also kept her occupied with tasty new chew objects.

Thanks, hopefully I can keep to that process somewhat.  How long did you have to keep the cone on or were you able to use the softer tube.

Neither actually, she wore a medical pet shirt because I was home with her.  She kept it on for 10 days.
