the Doctor (cardiologist) has ordered me to take her off of the grain free dog foods and retest in 6 months.

So she is not on any medications for her heart, specifically for the DCM? And no taurine supplements? Just dental products?

Thank you for the specifics. I'm so sorry Dinah has health issues. I was just interested as an owner of 3 doodles, one a mini.  One can never gather too much information. My guys are all pretty healthy, but my mini has developed dental issues and has been diagnosed with 'old dog eye.'   We are encouraging him to chew on harder things, giving him a dental chew daily, and put an additive in his water that is supposed to help with tarter build-up.  I give the other two a glucosamine/chondroitin  supplement,
