I am just curious....both of my f1 Golden Doodles have the webbed feet, that they obviously got from the water loving retriever in them....so....does the f1b, etc, also have the webbed feet?
Ok...so either I think too much or I am just trying to make conversation with my favorite people....Doodle owners!!!
Jordan (LD) does not have webbed feet, but she is still a swimmer! Her Sister Koda does have webbed feet.Luck of the draw with F-1's.
I would assume F1B would. Our Stand.Poodle did. I might me wrong.Good question.
Even funnier...my Oliver, who has the webbed feet, is not a big fan of water....he just cracks me up! If it is knee high and he is on his leash, he loves it...but only under those circumstances. We tried the baby pool thing for him and he wanted nothing to do with it. But if we take him to the river nearby with a leash on, then he loves it! Hmmm......

Yeah that's what I thought too! Poodles are water dogs, and their now fashionable hair styles were first started in order to keep poodles joints warms... Gosh I love Animal Planet. So much random information.
Jane,
If you feel between their toes it will feel like "bat wings". Other than that I don't know if you could visually tell webbed feet from non webbed feet. :)
we have the same issue. Benny also thinks that our kids pool is a drinking water dish instead of going in there. He has webbed feet as well, and he enjoys to run through the water, but he is not a swimmer so far. His favourite walking buddy a Bordeaux dog is always in the water and swims but Benny just looks at her as she was insane lol.
Fergie has webbed feet. She LOVES the water. l live on a channel in WI. I had to install the e-fence so she can't get in it unless I tell her it's OK. I was worried about when the ice goes out in spring. Surely don't want any accidents there. But when it's warm she goes swimming every day. She's a very hot dog. She should live in Alaska. She loves this WI winter.
Dandy my Doodle and Rocky my Poodle both have webbed feet. Are they swimmers? It's done nothing but snow since the day I brought each of them home but they both LOVE to have a bath. They both like to lay down in the water.
