Hey,
Before I do the dog thing, ya'll pray this baby out of me before I start sloshing when I walk, or get shipped to tin buck too by my husband whom I am driving absolutely nuts with the nesting. I nested in my SUV today. He laughed at me when I got the toothbrush out and went after little crevices that to me looked like the Amazon river of junk!
Okay dogs. I had some wonderful happenings this weekend. On Tuesday of last week I helped rescue two doodles from a ...well...if I don't say the word can you imagine something naughty...place. Brought them home, had my groomer friend come over and help me find the dogs underneath the mats, and get them cleaned up. One dog could not even walk properly because she was so matted. So, got them cleaned up, off the vet for shots, wormer, check-ups and the like. My dentist came over on Saturday and chose one. He had been wanting a doodle and he has always gotten his doggies from us. We trade training for dentistry! LOL. Anyway, he happened to see Stella (the fainting goat doodle) and immediately fell in love. His dad is a vet and he is more than capable of handling her. He took them home and on the way ran into a friend of his who came over immediately and got the other rescue to take home. First day reports say they are doing great. I don't get to rescue often, but when I can and I have room and resources I will. It was a heartwarming experience and I am so glad that Stella now has a home of her own. She deserves the very very best...but then again don't they all.
