VIDEO OF DAVE NIKKEL'S LABRADOODLE PUPPY MILL

I hope none of you bought a puppy from Dave Nikkel in Manitoba. Here's the video of the news report after authorities shut down his UNLICENSED puppy mill. Lots of unsocialized labradoodle puppies were rescued from the filthy conditions and are now looking for homes...poor things.
Another reminder, folks, please...KNOW WHO YOU BUYING FROM! Photos on a website are NOT enough!

To give you an idea of how easy it is to be deceived, here's a newspaper article about Dave & his labradoodle breeding business...makes him seem very legitimate & reputable, doesn't it? He's portrayed as quite the expert.

So true... please everyone if you can NOT visit the home of your potential breeder, connect with SEVERAL people who have before making a commitment.

When will these newspapers and tv shows finally get some facts straight though? I'm so tired of hearing partial truths...

This is so sad. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to visit the breeder for both our current labradoodle and the goldendoodle that we will be getting. This just shows how easily you can be duped and how even if the breeder sounds knowledgable and even has a good web page you can't trust them based on that. I agree with you all that you must do the research. Again, so sad.
