Zoey is going to be 3 months on the 20th of February. I have 2 older boy dogs that Zoey follows everywhere....Zoey lifts her back leg to pee!!!! Funny but strange..I guess she watches the other 2 dogs but I am wondering if she will stop this and just pee like a girl dog. People think she has something wrong with her leg or paw, then I tell them why she does it, nothing is wrong with her leg or paw....Has anyone ever seen this before???
We had a horse that was an orphan foal. He grew up with our 2 Male Newfoundlands and...you guessed it, he lifted his leg to pee. I guess they just do what they see others do.
I wouldn't worry about it. Just tell people that it is one of her little quirks that makes you love her so much. LOL

Hi Marrianne
I have 3 dogs - 2 female Lurchers and a recently acquired female doodle. One of my Lurchers has always lifted her leg to pee and she is now 15 years old. The other strange thing I have noticed with her is that male dogs have never shown any interest in her (all my girls are speyed) whilst the 'old' girl who is nearly 17 1/2 years old STILL gets the boys after her and she can just about get moving!!
