This news absolutely made my day! At last, this sweet boy will know what it is to be cared for and loved in his own home. I had worried that no one would want this sweet senior doodle, and now my faith in humanity has been boosted! Blessings to IDOG RRR, Zane's foster mom, & everyone else who helped get Zane this chance for a happy ending. And special blessings to his wonderful new parents. With hearts like theirs, Zane will truly live happily ever after.
How about great news to Kristen, Susan & Jacquie, too. Jacquie and The DRRC contacted IDOG about Zane being in a High Kill Shelter. So kudos to YOU TOO, Jacquie. AND great job to Kristen Fuhrmann, of the Doodle Train who went to get him. AND Susan Cooper as a terrific Foster Mom.
So congratulations to Shannon, Lynda, Kristen, Susan and Jacquie. What TEAMWORK!
I don't need any personal recognition....it was a team effort and most of my participation was via phone and email....Kristin and Susan actually did all of the driving and all of the dirty work...
This is wonderful news. Thank you to those of you who helped this come about. There are prospective owners out there but it takes wonderful people like you to help them find dogs and dogs find them.
Thank you all for the lovely posts.....I can't tell you how happy we all are that Zane has a new wonderful home!...and it's all thanks to some pretty amazing people who are all volunteers......thanks to all, Zane will spend the rest of his life with a wonderful family who love and adore him.......He came very close to being euthanized just because of his age.....Thankfully, he gets a second chance at a good life......
I am really proud of all of you. Just look at what regular people can do to help rescue dogs. No big organization, no huge budget or stimulus package. Just us! It is amazing, with Sophie and Bubbles and now Zane. I am proud to know all of you. Nice work, ladies! One by one.
