Jonah has great coloring. What did he start out like as a puppy?

Here he is at 5 months, I got him when he was 4mo. the only thing silver on him at the time was the hair between his pads, on his elbows and some in his beard. What a change!

Was one of his parents a silver poodle? Yes, there has been a lot of change, but many dogs end up lighter when they age, especially if one of the parents is lightly colored.

Not sure. I didn't get to meet the parents. I really love the change in his coloring. I find him stunning......but I'm a little biased!

I can contribute to that.. My aussiedoodle has lightened up soo much. His mom was a very light colored Merle Standard Australian Shepard. His Dad was a black Standard Poodle. I don't know how big he will get. He's 22 inches and about 45 pounds now at 6 months old.

My DARK little Aussiedoodle Teddy turned into..

a LIGHT colored Aussiedoodle Teddy..Now the only brown is on his ears.
