Please forgive me is this is not the place to post this request. Doodley was my first foster Dog.
I'm very sadden by the new I received to today from his mom. On the morning of the 18th when he was out for his morning walk he was attacked by another dog and pulled out of his collar. As a result he does not have a collar. He is lost in the area of 9100 Wood Pointe Way, Fairfax Station,VA. This is very close to the Crosspointe Animal Hospital. He was last spotted today around 123 at Silvebrooke. Doodley is very she and afraid of most humans. Dooley is likely to approach a dog. He is yellow in color and approximately 75 lbs. He is approximately 2 1/2 years old If you live in or know someone in the area please keep an eye out for him. If seen the number to call is 571-484-8002 or 703 408-1760. Please keep him in your doodle prays. He had a very rough start in life.

I hope they are able to find him soon. At least he's been spotted. Have they notified all of the local authorities and animal control to keep a look out for him?
Yes, thankfully all the authorities have been notified. He is just a shy boy.
will keep our fingers crossed for his safe return
Poor Doodley....hope he is found soon, keep us posted!
Be sure to post in the Virginia group AND the GRAD group too!
Hoping for his safe return...
I JUST RECEVIED THIS :

WE FOUND HIM!!!

Anne,

Because of all of the e-mails, alerts, and flyers, a good semaritan and her daughter found the dog and followed him. He was crossing back and forth over Rte 123 (a MAJOR road, 50-60 mph). Thank you sooooo much for helping. We are so very grateful to have him back.

Please thank those who volunteered to look (I’m sure you already heard from some volunteers today and Carroll called me and e-mailed me too).

Thank you again,

Kathleen
AWESOME ... hooray for Dooley!!! Such a scary wait for his owners, I'm glad they've got their doggy back.
Kathleen, I am so happy they found Dooley, you must have been worried sick. Enjoy having your boy home and I hope the two of you get a good nights sleep. Hugs, Terri V & "mini" Cooper
Ann, I'm so thrilled to hear this. I saw your initial post earlier on the DCDoodles group. I wish I knew this earlier today because I was actually driving in that area today with my part-time job.
Whoopee!! I am so glad that he was found safe.
Hi Ann,
I am sooooo glad that you were able to find Dooley. A year ago while I was in a Rehab Facility recovering from major back surgery, the HOA where we live decided to paint the fences and left the back gate cracked. My husband did not know and both of my angels went exploring. They both have chips and collar tags, but Bri is very shy. Coco on the other hand is a ham and jumped into some people's car when they stopped and then they called us and she was home. Bri was scared off and was out in the field area's around our house for 2 days in 110 degree heat...we kept getting calls that she had been spotted, but we think she "went to ground" in some construction drainage pipes during the day. Finally she was spotted on the evening of the actual 3rd day and the people called my husband and he took Coco and my daughters dog to where she had been spotted and let them loose...the moment she heard Coco and Karma bark she came running from behind a little hill....I know that you know the incredible relief when they are found...we feel that it truly was a miracle!! I felt so helpless! Anyway, so glad that you found Dooley!! Have a nice day! Doodlelove, Denice
Great news!
