ROTFLOL! Adina I am continually reminded that you are adorable! That was great! Both of your dogs set a good example and were strong, yet respectful of each other.
I think one of them should have at least interviewed Cass to get his non-doodle perspective. He may have had some interesting info worth noting. (Or maybe he would have remained silent on the issue out of loyalty to both parents.)
Although both were great, I think Rosco won by a "hair."
I had never thought about this topic before, so I was able to follow the debate with a completely open mind. It did give me something new to think about. As many men my age are bald, the arguments in this debate will give me a useful tool if I should ever consider remarriage, as I would want to pick the best doodle dad possible.(Perhaps there should have been a third debater arguing on behalf of doodle parents who wear toupees. No, never mind. I would never date someone who wore a toupee anyway.)
I think both doodles did an excellent job presenting their arguments. I was unable to locate the sources Rosco cited for his statistics, but I know he is a very honest doodle who would not just make things up. I think Rosco missed a prime opportunity for rebuttal of Thule's argument that haired parents spend too much time caring for their own hair, by perhaps pointing out that bald parents must spend a fair amount of time shaving.
Where Thule really got the advantage, though, was when she made the comment about Rosco's mom spending more time on the computer than she does playing. This comment rang so true to me, based on my own habits as a haired doodle parent, that I would have to give this debate to Thule. But it was very close! Great job, Rosco and Thule!
And I'd have to call it a draw, I think. Both doodles were extremely proficient debaters, which begs the question: why do you and Clark even have to work anymore? Since your doodles possess such mind-boggling talent, they could easily sell out a world tour or headline in Vegas, no? Put 'em to work!
Haired parents are just too self involved. They are far more into doing their hair than playing with you. All the washing and conditioning and styling takes a lot of time out of their day.
Haired parents also tend to be really fussy about their doodles' coats. Haired parents tend to complain about their groomer 80% more than bald parents.
Bald parents, on the other hand, understand that a close shave is nothing to be ashamed about. They don't panic when we come back with our summer cuts.
Bald parents are the best kind to have. My daddy is bald and I love him so!
My favorite part, is their salty kissable heads--try kissing your mom's head and all you'll get is a mouthful of hair.
Adina,
I left another note, but think I left it in the wrong place!!! I laughed so hard Coco and Bri thought there was something wrong!!! Both I and their dad have hair, although they may have a different opinion in a year or so when daddy's head becomes more bald than thinning!!!
I thought that they were very respectful, as someone else noted and both have great points..you are so clever, they must get that from you..Keep up the good work! I love you and this site!!!
