Abby's at the Dr...
It has been so lonesome today... we had gone 4 1/2 years without a dog - and then we got Abby in November. Today she is at the Dr. being spayed and the house is too quiet - and I feel like a nervous Mom with a child in surgery! LOL They called and she is fine, but I can't wait to go get her... I miss my girl!

It's funny how quickly we get used to having them around. She'll be back at home in no time. Then you'll be looking for a way to keep her calm for a few days.

We have wooden floors and the dogs nails make a distintive sound when they go across them. Except when we bring them to the dog sitter before vacation. Then it is so quiet. Very erie and LONELY.

I couldn't function at work the day Sophie went in for surgery. Which is funny because we hadn't adopted her yet, but she was already my girl. I see how much you love Abby & she will be so comforted to see her mommy when she wakes up and is through recovery. I am glad she is doing well.. Give her hugs and kisses from Sophie and I XOXOXO

Isn't it funny. Sometimes we just wish so hard for a minute to ourselves, but then when we get it we realize we like it much better with doodles underfoot!
