Update on Honey...but Mom not so good

[HANNAH 8/2/07 & HONEY 7/2/08]

Hi All,
We made it through the night, and Honey seems to be much better. She is eating, and ate about midnight last night after getting some pepto into her, she had her hamburger and rice which I left down for her and she was actually carrying the bowl around playing with it after she finished. She hasn't pooped yet since she did all of it yesterday, but we shall see later today, or by tomorrow if it worked. I am still taking a sample into my vet tomorrow, and be sure she does not have any worms. So...we finally get some sleep and this morning I was playing with Hannah on the bed, before we officially got up, and called her to me to lie down aside of me, as she did ..she stepped right on my eye, or clocked me with her paw in the eye. OUCH. I know she didn't mean this, and I feel bad cause I was so worried about my eye, I didn't get to hug her and let her know she wasn't at fault for it, it was an accident. So now after a trip to the ER which it seems one of us was destin for..lol...I have a scratched Cornea. Common, but hurts. We will be fine so please all don't worry...Hope all of you have a Happy Easter, with lots of Doodle Kisses and get to talk with you all later today or tonight....Love Denise Hannah&Honey

Sorry about your eye. We've had lots of close calls that same way, but no real injuries yet. Hope Honey keeps getting better.

Oh, POOP!! What a weekend you have had! I am so sorry for the pain you are in. I think you should just go to bed and wait until tomorrow to get out of it LOL!!!!!!! Like that is an option

Denise, this has just not been your weekend! My daughter did the same thing to my husband when she was a baby, same place (on the bed), same day of the week, July 4th instead of Easter! Gotta love the emergency room on a holiday weekend!
Jackdoodle is a great one for head-butting, right in the face. I feel your pain.
I hope your eye will be better soon, and I'm glad Honey is doing better. You could probably tell I was worried last night!

What a weekend!!!! I'm glad Honey is doing better. Does a scratched cornea and a trip to an ER on a holiday give you a free ticket to get spoiled all day? Hopefully so. Sorry to hear about all the tribulations at your house this week!
