Spayed too early??

My Puppy was spayed by breeder at 8 weeks old. Now I am reading some disturbing controversy to this procedure such as orthopedic problems, cancer, urinary incontinence, and behavioral issues http://www.caninesports.com/SpayNeuter.html.

I had also found info touting the health benefits of spaying early.

Now I dont know how to feel about it. Any thoughts, advice, experiences?

I can understand how you feel. I was very confused on wen I should neuter Max. I kept hearing conflicting information. I decided to neuter him at 4 months even though my then vet wanted to go with 6 months. Neutering even younger than 4 months was another ballgame. It all seems so complex. For the record, I don't regret neutering him earlier than the original suggestion from my vet.

Thanks Ann and Adina! I feel better not having to worry about a super tall legged, pin headed, very narrow dog with heart cancer and incontinence. ;o)
