Hi everyone! I wrote in a couple weeks ago about looking to add a doodle to our family. Well, a lot has happened since then! I had a couple that fell through for various reasons, then I happened to find a little Labradoodle girl named Story in Ohio. I immediately contacted the rescue about her, and was told she was still available. I filled out the applicated and was approved a week later! So here is a little more info about Story. She was found in a high kill shelter in Ohio, her nails had never been trimmed, and her fur had never been cut so she was a mess! They said she was given up for economic reasons. But the shelter saw the potential in her and found a rescue who would take her. They put her with a foster who cleaned her up and put her in a home setting to learn the basics all over again. They believe she is 10 months to a year old and is a very sweet, gentle girl! For everything she has been through, she is not aggressive and is healthy. She gets fixed on Monday and we are going to pick her up Friday! I'm attaching some pictures the foster sent me. She is very underweight - about 35 - 40 pounds and she should be around 50. Say a prayer for her on Monday! I'll keep you updated!
Awwwww, what a "Story", she is beautiful. You are sooo lucky and so is Story to have found you. I know she will have a great life now. How awful she must of felt looking so terrible. I know Lucy loves to be fluffed and puffed as well as any girl does. Just love her to death. We will certainly pray for you reunion with her, keep us posted
