Jacque Reynolds recently posted a discussion on her new non-profit to breed, place and train Labradoodles and Goldendoodles as service dogs. We are happy to share the first media release on Gabby Jack Ranch! It features Jacque (Jac), of course! And also Vickie's (doggonecrazy) son Jason with his "therapy dog" Copper and her son Luke playing ball with my Labradoodle, Dakota, for a little background interest! I was so pleased with Jason, Copper and Dakota...they made the story!
We have our first "official" puppies in training for service dogs now and, soon, we will place 6 puppies with their special needs partners!
We have an excellent trainer heading the program and I think that our program will help us to place many more.
We will, of course, have a learning curve...but it is a really nice start.
Diane is on the board of directors, along with others...adding remarkable insight and help.
Sharon, from the Goldendoodle Premium Breeder site, has donated 3 puppies for our first group of pups and she is training one of them too...what a generous and appreciated gift!
