Oh I guess I am confused. Reading through the posts I thought you rescued her and were fostering her, waiting for adoption. Somewhere I thought I heard you refer to her as "our Remy"....oh up there where you said "We have Remy listed" I was wondering where she came from and what her story is. (why she was given up, is she a dog form a DK member, etc...)
If you follow her Petfinder link she is in Ontario. This is her pic and what info that is given:
" Remy was surrendered to the rescue when he owners found they did not have the time to devote to his training.
This is a gorgeous pup but don't let his good looks fool you. He is very intelligent and if he can get away with something he will. Very comical, affectionate and confident, Remy needs an owner that can be the alpha.
Remy is very friendly with everyone and as a youngster he went regularly to doggie daycare and is good with other dogs that like to play. He is also good with cats. He has a habit of picking things up and especially likes brown filtered cigarettes. For the most part he has now been trained to drop it by exchanging whatever he has for a treat.
Remy is only 10 months old, is crate trained and walks okay with a halti. He has been started on regular leash training but will need consistent and loving training to help him become a skilled companion.
He was bred from a Goldendoodle and a toy poodle making him much smaller than a regular Goldendoodle. He is only a medium sized dog weighing about 25 lbs. He will require regular grooming and currently has his face shaven.
In his foster home Remy (called Hoover) likes to sleep on the floor rather than in a bed and enjoys playing with toys, other dogs and the family cat. He is hypo-allergetic and non-shedding and has a lovely fleece coat. "
Ah, Remy is a HE not a SHE. Just look at that perfect little face! This pretty boy was not given up by a DK member. We Love Doodles here!
The DRRC searches and lists in one place, doodles in need from all over the US and Canada. We work with IDog and other rescues to ensure no doodles are euthanized in shelters anywhere in North America.
LOL! I thought Remy was male until you said "we have Remy listed is she one of them" and "we dont have her". Anyways he sounds adorable but is too far away (I am in BC). And I cant afford his cigarettes! (j/k ;o)
And now you see why I was confused with the "we have Remy listed" post I thought she belonged to someone here and thought "why would the owner just give her up?" I hope he gets adopted soon he is a cutie!
