Early on when I talked to Kyoko about having this romp we discussed trying to get donations for in a raffle basket to raise some money for IDOG. We were not too optomistic about how many donations we would get. We made up letters to give out to different stores, pet salons, vets etc. and put out flyers. To our amazment we had a tremendous response and ended up with a fabulous basket, that Erin, her husband and Hershy won. Following are the names of contributors..................
* Penn HIlls Veteranary Hospital
* Bethel Park Walmart
* Bethel Park Giant Eagle
* Bethel Park Shop"N" Save
* Monroeville Papermart
* Love U Pet Salon in Bethel Park (A beautiful throw won by Adrianne Matzkin)
* Iseman's Exotic Pet Paradise in Ford City
* Tractor Supply in Kittanning
* Ronni Willyard, Vandergrift
* Kyoko Henson, Pittsburgh (Handmade beautiful blanket)
* Karen Grantz, Vandergrift

That was very thoughtfull of all who donated to such a worthy cause. Glad to hear there are still some decent people in the world.
Congratulations to the winners!!! What a wonderful idea; I hope you were able to raise quite a bit of money for a great cause!!
Beautiful Basket won by a wonderful doodle family!!
Your romp was so much fun, for the dogs and the people!!
It was a pleasure meeting everyone, Guinness was ready to go back the next day!!
(he loved Lucy!!<3 )
And $$ was raised too!!

Thank you Karen and Kyoko for planning the event, looking at everyones pics reminds all of us of the wonderful time had by all on Saturday!!
What a wonderful response and for such a worthy cause. We would like to thank all those who donated and all the personal love and time that goes into planning such an event. I can't say enough about what a good time the humans had in addition to the dogs. Lots of laughs and friendliness.

A special thanks goes out to Janice from Howlabaloo Dog Park who helped my husband, Spud, and I, after we got stranded in Edinboro later that evening. Also a very special thank you to the Erie Sheraton who welcomed us with open paws at such a "fancy hotel". We were offered a dog bed, dog bowls, and a very dog accomadeting shower. We looked pretty silly walking into such a fancy brand new hotel covered in mud. The only looks we recieved were smiles.
OMGoodness, what happened. What about the Edinboro Inn??????? I am curious now. I know you said you didn't get home until 3 PM the next day, but didn't know you had problems.............
LOl!! I am glad that they were so nice!! May be they can be the designated Hotel for the next Doodle Romp!!
You did a fantstic job organizing a wonderful afternoon. It was Marissa's, DD, first romp and now she understands why I drive all over to attend. Doodle families are truly just NICE people!
Karen, thank you!
Kyoko, thank you!
Nic - thank you! I am sure that you were a large part of helping
A big thank you to all those who donated their wares to help raise funds for IDOG.
Another big thank you to Janice for donating her park fees to IDOG.

The time and love that was put into the romp were obvious!
Adrianne
PS - Samantha snuggled in my new throw the entire drive home
You are quite welcome Adrianne, It was so much fun doing something like this and we can't wait until next year. Yes, Nic loves to join in things like this too, he is a real animal lover. At one time he wanted to be a Vet, but now has a love for Asian Culture and that is were he his going now with his interest, still loving animals though. Our total donation to IDOG was $211.00. I was thrilled to be able to send that to them for our first time. Congratulations to all who attended and a BIG thank you from us.
I am glad to hear that Sam like the throw.
Wow!! That was nice!!
Hey, Nic can contact me any time if he has any questions in regard to the Asian Study!! Pitt has a nice Asian Study Course, too...
Thank you from the grateful winners of the basket! My husband Jacob and I were shocked at how much stuff was in there once we got it home! Hershey is in love with the 1st toy we gave her (after she destroyed 3! at the Romp!) and is greatly appreciating the yummy treats! We're rationing both the treats and the toys - because she could very quickly become one spoiled doggie!

Great to meet all of you!
What a great idea you had. Congrats to the winners!
Another thank you - it is a bit chilly here in NJ this am. I am sitting outside, cup of hot coffee, net book in lap and wrapped up in my gorgeous GR throw that I won at eh romp. THANK YOU!! no nice a warm
