Jordan is 24 inches and weighs 72p, she is 3y. (I know she needs to lose some weight.) Last year she was 66p. My Vet told me than she should lose 7p. I was shocked when she weighed 6 more pounds. I really thought she had lost some. She really does not look "fat". She still has the tuck at the rear, but she has some extra love'n in her doodle butt.
I am just wondering if any one here knows how much she should weigh?

Tia is 25 inches tall and 82 lbs. The vet said she is too heavy by 8 lbs. She said if you can feel their ribs without pushing too hard they are fine. Tia has a bit of a jelly belly so I agree she is a bit over weight. I added green beans to her food and cut back on her kibble and she is looking so much better already. The green beans and carrots (canned and rinsed) fill her up and so she isn't packing on the lbs. I say we as owners know their weight best. I felt that Tia was getting a bit chunky and she was. I was able to nip it in the bud because I paid attention and ask my vet (I trust all of the Vets there BTW)
Kensi is about 8mo old and she is 45lbs. I don't anticipate her getting much bigger. She is actually much smaller than I had expected her to be, her mother was a GR 65lbs, and her dad was a 75lb huge standard poodle.
Gosh, our dood weighs in at 98lbs. Maybe he should be on a diet. We don't feed him that much for his size, though. He is going on 5 yrs. old and has gained a few lbs a year. Like yours, he doesn't look overweight. He looks big and strong!
You should join our group for the BIG doods!! Heavyweights!

Samantha is 23" at the shoulder and weighed in at 65 lbs last week. We both need to loose a little weight - Samantha not as much as I do - but eventually the weather will get a little warmer and I guess then I will have to find another excuse not to walk - too warm? I hope DH can get me motivated to get moving!
Hey!Same size as Jordan. I've working our butts of to lose the 10ps she lost. Yeah :)
Hartley is 16 months old, about 27 inches at the shoulder and weighs 72 pounds - there is hardly any fat on him. He is exactly the size we wanted, but according to the breeder he was going to be 50-55 pounds!!
You cant give a right weight for a doodle because its a mix breed. But what you should do is if she looks great and maybe should lose some weight cut back on the dog teats and the amount you give her. Also take her out of the house. Labs can gain weight fast and look real bad if not kept on a good diet but poodles are skinny and active. But trying to have a right weight for a mix breed is hard.
You aren't kidding! Samantha looks like a Lab with long hair. She is broad chested, short legs for the length of her body. To me, the only poodle in her is the longer hair and the few curls on the top of her head.
I have noticed that since we finished formal classes and the prepared treats are far and few between, she has lost the lump of fat (that I didn't realize was there until it was gone) on her chest, under her neck. Now that it is gone, we are working on keeping it off.
Gracie Doodle is 2yrs. 4mos. and is 27" tall and 70 lbs. She is an F1 Goldendoodle and is very active. Runs for tennis balls ALL the time! She is a big girl but very skinny and agile.
An update on Sadie, she weighed 72 lbs in April, at 11 mos old and just had her to the vet and got her weighed and she is 68 lbs now, at 15 mos old. She is about 24-25 ins high. I asked the vet about her weight and he said she it good and try to keep in between 65 and 70.

Ozzy is an F1 and they thought he would be about 60lbs..he is well over 80lbs and just a big goof. He thinks he is small.
