Are we acceptable?

We are Doodle fans. Several years ago, we wanted a Doodle, but couldn't find one from people we felt comfortable with, so we got a Poodle instead. We have a Poodle and 3 Golden Retrievers, but we are Doodle fans. My husband and I are on a mission to take care of people's Goldens while they are out of town, to keep Golden Retrievers from having to go to kennels. We also accept Doodles because of our love for them. But we don't own a Doodle. If we are out of line being members and keeping up on Doodle news, please let us know. No hard feelings. And congrats on having Doodles in your family. We just had both a Labra and a Golden Doodle here...both young and around 50 pounds. They were soooo full of energy, and have that wonderful lightness on their feet that makes them appear to be made of air. Truly instantly loveable! Attached is a pic of one of our Doodle campers along with some f our Golden campers. What a cutie!

As far as I know, anyone is welcome to join. You should look through our groups, there is a wannabe doodle owners group that you might like. There is tons of information that would be useful for any dog owner and not just doodles. Welcome to our group.

You are more than "acceptable"; if I hadn't found my guy at a shelter, I would have a poodle now, too. Last dog was a poodle, and the next one will probably be one as well. You own our dog's parent breeds, and it sounds like you probably know more about doodles than many doodle owners do. You absolutely belong here!

doodlekisses is more for doodle lovers, but not necessarily doodle owners. My daughter joined and she has a lab = she calls herself an aunt to a doodle - I call her half-a-labradoodle owner. Seriously == Welcome. Join in the groups and discussions and put your two cents worth into the mix. As an experience dog owner, you probably have lots of advice for some of us.

Thanks to all of you who have made us feel welcome. People's personalities are a lot like their dogs', and I've never met a Golden Retriever person I didn't like. The same is beginning to be true for me for Doodle Parents too.
