We live in Lincroft (Middletown), Monmouth County. Of course there's Thompson Park, here. In response to Clarke, below.

Let's do a roll call for NJ doodles with county/town etc. so we can arrange meets/romps etc. We're in Long Valley (corner of Morris and Hunterdon cty). We have a local dog park and a yard suitable for romping also. Anyone else nearby?

Jersey here, we live in Hillsborough (Somerset County) Colonial Park in Millstone has a large fenced dog park. Have you ever gone to the Manasquan Inlet dog beach, Lynne? It shouldn't be too far from you. I visit my friend in Neptune (who also has a doodle), we go there often. In fact, we are going there 10AM Aug 22 (Fri). Join us if you can.

Diane, I haven't been there. Manasquan is about 20-30 minutes for me and I have a Bijon who can't ride in a car at all. I have him holding off for a 5 minute ride now (he used to throw up as soon as he got into the car), but haven't pushed him farther than that. He has a very bad car sickness problem. He has to be held and "coo'd" to the entire trip. So I will usually take my sons with me to do that while I drive and they have started football practice now. So I have no co-pilots any more. We're in Randolph, NJ in Morris County near Succasunna, Rockaway, Denville, Parsippany, etc. We'd love to have a Doodle playdate with anyone in the area. Our Bailey is a female F1 19 week old Goldendoodle.

Hi Anna, we're in Long Valley, not far from you at all. And we have a good dogpark in town, and our own yard is big and way off the road (though not fenced). We should hook up sometime! And we'll definately keep you posted on our next NJ romp at our house, in May we had about 10 doodles and their families here for a great pawty! Nice to meet you!

Anyone know about any good dogparks in Morris County? We haven't found any. Does your doodle have to be licensed to go there? We just haven't got around to it, although Bailey has completed all her puppy vaccines including Rabies and Lyme.

We're in the Caldwells! Kodi is loving the Egan Field dog path in Essex Fells. It is a winding path about a mile long, cut through the forest. I hear people bike back there, too, but haven't seen any. If anyone is headed that way, give us a holler.

We are trying to get a bunch of doodles together at the Manasquan Inlet next Saturday (9/27) around 10 AM (weather permitting) before the water gets too cold. Jersey and I will be there and so will my best friend, Gail and her doodle Riley. We hope to see some new and old doods there. We'll be looking for you!
