Has anyone ever tried one for there dog? My puppy is very active and distracting when in the car. He like to jump on my lap while im driving, go under my feet, trys to look out the window but he is still too short. I have heard about dog car seats and booster seats, just wondering if anyone has ever tried one? and if they work??

I was at Petsmart today and they do actually have a booster seat. It would only be useful for a small dog. Other than that, the harness is your best bet.
We use harnesses that hook up to the seatbelt shoulder strap. I need to get a third one for when we have all 3 dogs in the car. I got mine after one of the boys stepped the power window button. Now everyone rides strapped in and I turn on the childproof locks.
I purchased a harness recently that I LOVE...and it also comes with a seatbelt attachment! I bought it for a comfortable harness for taking Cooper for a walk. But the swiveling seatbelt part is a great plus! ( I also bought the EZYDOG collar...it is waterproof and fits soooo nicely.)
